Taylor Smith was born in Tucson, Arizona. However, after spending the majority of his life in New Mexico, he considers himself a native New Mexican.
Prior to and while attending law school, Mr. Smith assisted in lobbying efforts for the University of New Mexico. While in law school, he interned for two summers with the Legislative Council Service, an invaluable experience that provided him an opportunity to draft legislation and learn the intricacies of New Mexico’s state government. In his last year, Mr. Smith externed for the Honorable Linda M. Vanzi at the New Mexico Court of Appeals.
After briefly working for the Law Office of the Public Defender, Mr. Smith joined the Narvaez Law Firm. His civil practice includes defending civil rights claims, New Mexico Tort Claims Act claims, class action lawsuits, complex litigation, breach of contract, and Whistle Blower Protection Act claims.
