Ricardo Roybal grew up in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of New Mexico. In law school, he was elected to the editorial board of the New Mexico Law Review and wrote an article that the NMLR selected to publish. He was also recognized for his performance as part of the clinical law program as he earned the Jerrold L. Walden Memorial Award for Social Justice.
Mr. Roybal worked as a law clerk for the Narvaez Law Firm for almost two years before joining as a licensed attorney. During this time, he handled a case involving a deficiency balance due to a creditor, from its inception to its client-
